Live Long and Prosper, Mr. Nimoy!

Leonard Nimoy, the noted poet, photographer, director, and musician, (with some light acting work too), has turned 79 today.

Of course, he is most famously known for his portrayal of Mr Spock on (my favorite show) Star Trek. I’ve been in my share of shamefully nerdy conversations regarding Star Trek , but I think all of us Trekkies and Trekkers can agree: Mr Spock was pretty damn kickass.

I think my first officer, Mr Spock would agree:

Captain, I suggest the use of phasers! The Eternal QuestionNommin like a Romulan.

So thanks, Mr Nimoy, in small but meaningful ways you’ve influenced our lives.

PS This is too funny not to repost:

  1. MY BABYCAT

seriously though, does Leonard Nimoy have a thing for pointy ears or something? and why oh why does he keep the Spock haircut for his personal life? that song is way too absurd.
