He Had A Dream, And Beck Was The Nightmare

Dr. King was a great man. His “I Have a Dream” speech is the defining moment of the civil rights movement, and it is a testament to the power of his words that a black person could become the president not forty years later. On this day also, the suffragette movement  started by (non-religious) civil rights hero Susan B Anthony won her righteous quest for an equal voice for women.

Glenn Beck, the delusional, racist exploiter of the willing stupid, is smearing these timeless memories by attempting to reclaim civil rights for the people (rich, white conservatives) that ALWAYS stood in the way of equality. On the same day as the ‘I have a dream’ speech, at the same place. So there is no question: Beck is a pathetic little parasite who deserves to be promptly forgotten. Thanks to one of my favorite blogs “Crooks and Liars”, we have this handy chart.
